2. What this statement covers

This Privacy Statement explains how we collect, use, store, and protect the personal data of visitors, fans, and newsletter subscribers across our websites. It is separate from our Cookie Policy, which explains the specific cookies and tracking technologies we use — this statement explains why we process the data those and other tools collect.

This statement covers our fan-facing activity only. It does not cover our handling of artist or business-partner data, which is governed separately.

3. What personal data we collect

Depending on how you interact with our sites, we may collect:

  • Browsing data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and general usage statistics, collected automatically via Google Analytics.
  • Advertising data — interactions with our Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ads and pages, collected via the Meta Pixel, used to measure ad performance and build audiences for future campaigns.
  • Newsletter data — your email address, if you subscribe to our mailing list via Acumbamail. Subscriptions use double opt-in, meaning you must confirm your subscription by email before you’re added.
  • Streaming platform data — if you use a “Pre-Save” or “Follow” action on one of our release pages, Spotify or Apple Music may collect data in accordance with their own privacy policies in order to carry out that action on your behalf. We do not receive your personal account details from these interactions.
  • Contact data — your name and email address, if you contact us directly.

We do not knowingly collect financial or payment information through these sites.

  • Acumbamail — newsletter delivery and subscriber management
  • Spotify and Apple — only when you actively use a pre-save or follow action on a release page
  • Our hosting provider — to operate the websites themselves

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (notably Google and Meta, both based in the United States). Where this happens, these providers are expected to rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses, as required under GDPR.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. How long we keep your data

  • Direct enquiries: retained only as long as needed to handle and resolve your request.

  • Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Restrict or object to our processing of your data

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@audiomaze.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl, or with the supervisory authority in your own EU member state.
