Wakki is a rollercoaster ride through a universe forged by the energy of funk and the freedom of jazz. With six Kosmonauts in the cockpit this rumbling machine, fueled by endless curiosity, takes you on a daring flight through a grooving cosmos and its undiscovered dimensions. Propelled by their curiosity, Wakki addresses a wide variety of styles, genres and cultures: from Snarky Puppy and Fela Kuti to Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, and from Turkish vibes to straight up American funk. For everyone, there's something to recognize and something to discover: it's an adventure that makes you listen and dance at the same time. Complex rhythms and scenic themes get combined in a danceable way and musical spontaneity results in new interpretations of the music each time the band performs.
