
Ayşegül Yörükoğlu
Ayşegül Yörükoğlu is a Turkish classical pianist and multidisciplinary artist based in the Netherlands. Her work blends piano, electronics, and cross-disciplinary collaborations that blur the lines between performer and observer.
Her compositions focus on musical storytelling through sound and imagery. She co-founded NEFES in 2024, integrating breathwork with improvised music, and two other electronic projects: ŞUUR (electro-acoustic) and Algorhytmica (live coding performances). Born in Antalya, studied in Moscow and Amsterdam Conservatories, she has received prizes from international music competitions in Germany, Ukraine, Latvia, Russia, Malta, and Turkey.
