Den baúl di mi sintí

Den baúl di mi sintí (in the trunk of my feelings) is a heartfelt ballad about the love for a place and how that place always calls you back. It is based on a poem by Elis Juliana, a Curaçaoan cultural icon. It’s also about the search for belonging and how you can find yourself in someone else’s art and in this case, someone else’s words. I am a Dutch artist with a Colombian and Curaçaoan background which heavily influences my music and songwriting.
