Awa (meaning “water” in Papiamento) is Siegfried Hart’s most introspective and immersive project to date. Following his previous EP Hero Cayente, which symbolized fire as a transformative force, Awa takes a different approach—using water as a metaphor for healing, self-exploration, and emotional depth.

The album follows a journey into the subconscious, with each track representing a different emotion—love, anger, mercy, resilience—culminating in a renewed sense of self. The opening track, Intro, sets the stage with the sound of waves as Siegfried steps into the ocean, while the closing track, Outro, marks his emergence, reborn and transformed. Throughout the album, collaborations with diverse vocalists illustrate the spectrum of human emotion, making Awa a deeply immersive experience.
