Fiery Desert

Fiery Desert is an energetic Mediterranean-inspired world instrumental blending flamenco influences with piano, Istanbul kemençe, double bass and Turkish percussion. A driving groove and a memorable melody make it instantly engaging.

Fiery Desert was born from my fascination with flamenco during my Erasmus studies at Codarts, where I had the opportunity to take classes with the Flamenco Department. Rather than recreating traditional flamenco, I wanted to blend its rhythmic energy and expressive spirit with my own musical language. The piece brings together piano, Istanbul kemençe, double bass and Turkish percussion, creating a vibrant Mediterranean-inspired world instrumental. It has become one of our favorite pieces to perform as the Yarkın Siblings. Its simple, memorable melody and driving groove connect with listeners immediately, making it one of my most beloved compositions.
